Each tile: jurisdictions that audited, of all the state’s local election jurisdictions. One number means every jurisdiction audited. Where towns or municipalities run their own audit (CT, MA, NH, VT, WI) the tile counts them, not counties; totals marked ~ are approximate. AK, DC and RI ran one state-level audit. A tile counts a jurisdiction once even when it ran two audits.
How the count was made
~1,980counties and other offices with a record of conducting the audit
~500required by law, but 2024 conduct not yet on record (TX, TN, PA, NY, UT, AK)
440towns and municipalities (CT, MA, VT, NH, WI)
